The Makueni Recording Studio will be battling out with other international policies set up musicians Fair Payment Policy and Musician’s Benefits Concerts, both in Canada and in the United States. The Music Cities Awards is a global competition designed to acknowledge and reward the most outstanding applications of music for economic, social, environmental and cultural development in cities and places all around the world. “I am utterly delighted that the Makueni Recording Studio, a project by the Makueni County Government, has been nominated for the 2021 MUSIC CITIES AWARDS- best initiative to directly support musician's category,” the Governor stated.
